NAO Robot in Health and Rehabilitation

The NAO Humanoid Robot is leading the way in innovative and novel rehabilitation technologies.  

Some of the current projects include; research into rehabilitating brain and spinal cord injuries, assisting those on the Autism Spectrum, and providing Occupational Therapists with a powerful new tool for rehabilitation therapies. 

A recent partnership between The Brainary, Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), and Swinburne University of Technology has seen the introduction of NAO humanoid robots to assist in paediatric rehabilitation. Read more about this project on The Conversation.
